Sussie Hereford specializes in all aspects of business, corporate, and technology matters. Sussie began her career at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini specializing in the representation of high technology and emerging growth companies. She served as primary counsel for more than forty private and public companies, specifically in the areas of general corporate representation, venture capital, corporate financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property law. She has served in various in-house positions including as vice-president and general counsel of publicly-traded corporations.

Edward Kerley
Partner

Edward Kerley's practice is focused on employment, corporate, insurance, and business transactions. He has had a career that has familiarized him with every phase of litigation, and business transactions of almost every type. Prior to co-founding the firm, he has held positions with law firms both in the U.S. and abroad, as well as work in-house at private and publicly-traded companies.

Kathleen Card has almost twenty years of combined experience as an associate in a law firm and as a sole practitioner engaged in the general practice of law in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties.  Prior to working with Hereford Kerley, she was the Managing Attorney for a law firm in San Jose, CA.

Kathleen has represented public entities, financial institutions, small businesses, and private individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters including contract law, real property, construction, family law, landlord-tenant issues, and probate matters.  Kathleen's transactional experience includes estate planning and small business formation and counsel.  She has served as legal counsel to Associated Student Body members of a local junior college, as well as other local community associations.  Kathleen has also served as an elected public official responsible for policy development for the public agency and oversight of its $9 million budget.
